Saskatoon Transit offers free service to Fringe festival button holders
Anyone displaying their Fringe Theatre Festival buttons can have free bus rides from noon to the end of service each day during the festival, which started Thursday and runs to Aug. 7.
Riders must show their Fringe button — which is mandatory for all festivalgoers to have — when boarding the bus to receive free transportation.
Routes 2, 6, 11 and 13 travel to or near the Broadway area. Transit riders at the festival site can catch the bus on Broadway Avenue between Eight and Ninth Streets, or along Dufferin Avenue.
Transit route information can be found online at www.saskatoon.ca and clicking on “Click & Go” or by calling Phone & Go at 975-7500. Route pamphlets are also available at the customer service office at the downtown terminal, City Hall, or any business where transit passes are sold.
