Randene Neill is proud to be a part of the Global BC news team where she
anchors News Hour Final.
She was born in Vernon
and went to school at UBC and BCIT.
Randene enjoys the fast paced day-to-day production of news and says the
best part of her job is meeting new people every day.
Proudest professional achievement: "My proudest achievement was
doing a health story on a patient who needed a special kind of medical
procedure. Thanks to the story, dozens of people called in to support the
patient and donate money so the operation could proceed. The patient is
recovering nicely."
Randene's household includes a Rhodesian ridgeback mix named
"Billy," and a tomcat from the barns of Chilliwack named "Fred." Randene
adopted the animals from the SPCA.
Away from work, Randene enjoys playing soccer and tennis, walking the
dog in the rain, and spending time with friends.
